Important Shipping & U.S. Tariff Update from Lanctot’s Loveables Teddy Bears
Hello Bear Friends,
There are a couple of changes I want to share to keep everyone in the loop.
📦 Canada Post Strike Update
Due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, all regular postal shipping is temporarily on hold. For now, no shipping charges will appear at checkout — that’s intentional!
If you’d like to adopt a bear during this time, please contact me before completing your purchase so we can make arrangements. You’ll have two options:
🐻 Option 1: Place a deposit to hold your bear safely here until postal service resumes.
🚚 Option 2: Ship now via courier, starting at $135 CAD, if you’d prefer your bear to travel sooner.
Once the strike is over, we’ll return to our regular, more affordable shipping options.
🇺🇸 A Little Note for My U.S. Collectors
Because of a newly imposed U.S. import tariff, shipping to the United States now includes this added government fee. The adoption price of each bear will stay the same, but I’ll be invoicing shipping separately to reflect these changes.
I’ll always do my best to keep things simple, fair, and as affordable as possible—because the joy of a new fuzzy friend should always outweigh the paperwork! ✨

You can adopt directly through my website’s shopping cart.
Prefer a personal touch? You’re always welcome to email me with the name of the bear you’d like, your mailing address, and your preferred payment method — I’ll take care of the rest.
✨ Layaway Options
Need a little extra time? I happily offer layaway. A 25% non-refundable deposit will hold your bear, and the balance can be paid over up to 6 months. Your new friend will travel home as soon as the final payment is made.
✨ Special Orders
Looking for something unique? I also take special orders — simply contact me to discuss the details and we’ll create your one-of-a-kind bear together.
